Blacksmith donates hand sanitisers to CAFT children’s charity

Blacksmith Freight has donated over 500 bottles of hand sanitiser and anti-bacterial cleaning wipes to the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT) to help provide extra protection measures for children when their residential programme re-opens next month.

Blacksmith Freight, based at Manchester Airport’s Freight Terminal has been handling the import of thousands of hand sanitisers from overseas throughout the pandemic in response to the Covid-19 crisis, and they wanted to donate surplus stock to a worthy charitable cause.

The hand sanitiser products will help protect terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children in the North West who will be returning to the adventure farm for their residential programme which starts next month.  The centre has been closed since March last year, and safety will be a top priority for the charity to help keep vulnerable children and their families safe as lockdown restrictions ease.
