Blacksmith Freight is proud to be sponsoring St Panteleimon Football Club, a current member of the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division, with 4 championship titles and 2 league and cup doubles under their belt.
The club was formed in 2015 in Harrow within a Greek Orthodox Community. It started as part of a church group who wanted to find a way to support the mental health of under privileged Greek migrants who came over to the UK following the Greek debt crisis. The club was formed to help build a greater sense of community and allow people to participate in a team building sport whilst they worked to support their families.
The talent of the players soon got noticed and in 2018, Panteleimon Football Club applied to join the English National League System for Middlesex County at Step 8, Division 1, remaining undefeated for the entire season and winning the cup in the same year.
Since then, the club has gone from strength to strength, and they are now playing in the Spartan Premier League.
